Shannon Ford - Beetlejuice the Musical

TreeHouse Drums are all over the world playing different roles for different players. A certain Compact Nesting Kit is currently in a particularly cool situation at New 42nd Street Studios in New York with Broadway drummer extraordinaire, Shannon Ford as he prepares for the return of Beetlejuice the Musical on Broadway!

We are currently rehearsing Beetlejuice at New 42nd Street Studios in Manhattan. The schedule is 10am-6pm Monday through Saturday for three weeks. During that time it’s just the cast, stage managers, director, choreographer, Musical Directors and me. 

On March 21 we’ll move to our new Broadway home, The Marquis Theater. There we’ll do tech rehearsals to set lights, sound, special effects and all the elements involved in making this spectacle happen. Typically these are 10 hour days! Definitely a grueling schedule, but it will pay off when we begin performances on April 8th!

My TreeHouse Compact Nesting Kit has been essential during this rehearsal process, as well as generally navigating NYC as a freelance drummer. It’s portability and full, resonant sound make it a valuable musical tool for me. I highly recommend these drums!
