Symphonic Snares
After years of dabbling with various brands and styles of strainers and wires, shell configurations and sizes, TreeHouse is happy to offer a series of its own version of these versatile musical tools! Spice up your Concert Band or Symphonic Orchestra with a professional 14" TreeHouse Symphonic Snare. We'll start by offering three Production models of drums featuring our new Vintage Beavertail Lugs and our new Symphonic Strainer/Butt mechanisms.

In addition, you could choose different woods, colors, finishes, hoops, lugs, rims, depths (5½" minimum), or choose to have Reinforcing Rings installed.
Symphonic Snare Strainer and Wires
Similar to another popular triad strainer on the market, the TreeHouse Symphonic Strainer and Butt system offers you a great set of new voices if you're upgrading your new TreeHouse Snare Order or a friendlier price if you're modifying your existing drum. Offering 3 pairs of pressure plates, you can install TreeHouse Symphonic Cables, other brands' wires, or even make your own with guitar strings.
A TreeHouse Snare with our Symphonic Strainer comes standard with:
The extended cables measure 15½" of cable exposure with 17⅛" total overall length and right at ⅝" wide. These economical replacement cables each come with a pair of strings -- carefully measure what you already have as these are compatible with several, but not all, multi-strainers out there.
If you're ordering the Strainer for your own project, we recommend a minimum of 5½" shell depth to allow for sufficient hardware clearance.

- 8-strand Extended Stainless Steel uncoated cables
- 8-strand Extended “Black” coated medium cables
