Had to make something to replace the retired Backline Rock kit. The first performance for this kit was a Reggae Festival, so this "5-piece" gets an additional timbale to spank out that nasty groove! 8x10, 8x12, 16x16, 17x22, 7x14, 3½x12; plied maple; satin wax.

Semper Fi again! This time, it's the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band who needed two nesting kits to accomplish the missions at hand. 7½x12, 10x16, 16x20, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax.
He asked if we could make some mirror chrome concert toms to match his existing drumset...found some lugs, figured a way to mount them to his rack, and here we go! 6x6, 7x8; plied maple; mirror chrome wrap.  Continuing with our fun new lightweight Thumpers is this great pile of 14" and 16" models. They all feature 6-ply maple shells and 1.6mm hoops to keep 'em light along with the new CS-Bass Lifter with Rim Clip and Spider Leg Spurs. Need an extra bracket or 6? That's where the client who ordered this kit was -- and now he has enough to hold up all his cymbal arms! Neat idea too: "5-piece" nesting kit with an extra 16" bass when he wants to use the 10" as a mounted and 13" as a floor tom for those small spaces...always something new! 8x10, 10x13, 14x16, 16x20, 16x16; plied maple; satin wax. I saw this wrap, Rainbow Oyster, and just HAD to make some drumsets from it. Time for a thumpin' 16" somethin' --> 8" mounted on a 16" bass with a 13" floor and a thick 10" snare. The hairs still climb on the back of my neck! 5½x8, 13x13, 12x16, 4x10; plied maple; rainbow oyster wrap. Experimenting a little with the color recipe, this CS-20 has a different look than other Blue projects, Evans heads, and a couple of cymbal arms to lighten the hardware bag. 7½x12, 10x16, 16x20, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax. Took a little stab at getting a color similar to this customer's Bubinga drums on a pair of wee toms. Nice! 5½x6, 7x8; plied maple; satin wax. Channeling classy vibes, these versatile 8-ply maple drums feature beavertail lugs over our LIGHT BROWN aniline dye. NICE! 7x10, 8x12, 14x14, 16x16, 14x20; plied maple; satin wax. |
