What could be better than a 5-pc nesting set? How's about a 5-pc nesting set with two concert toms flying off to the side?!? Here ya go! 6x6, 7x8, 8x10, 9x13, 10x16, 16x20, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax.

When you get your Compact Nesting Kit and don't want to nest a snare, your floor tom can be deeper. Like this! 7x10, 12x14, 16x20; plied maple; satin wax. "Off we go into the wild blue yonder..." I wonder how many times this'll get played on these great drums, now in the hands of the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight. 7x10, 9x13, 15x16, 4½x12; plied maple; satin wax.  Yet another delicious Compact Nesting Kit configuration: the standard 4-pc where the toms nest into the bass and the 6½x14 snare gets its own case. 9x13, 14x16, 16x20, 6½x14; plied maple; satin wax. This CS-18 is headed to stage with a little different sizing than usual -- the toms are the same thickness as each other and the mounted tom is a skosh deeper than normal. A little variety is nice! 8x10, 9¾x14, 16x18, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax. Here's a little more aggressive take on our popular CS-18, this time with 2-ply black tom and snare heads, an 11" mounted, Re-Rings on the bass, audience-side wood hoop w/claws and three cymbal arms. 7x11, 10x14, 16x18, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax. It's always a hoot doing something new! The client who ordered this kit likes deeper snares, but still wanted to nest everything. Here we go! The floor tom is 1" shorter than normal and the bass 1" longer than normal so that a snare 2" deeper than normal nests. Wrapped Compact Nesting Kits take about twice the work, but they sure look cool! Working with a recent customer's idea that a Compact Nesting Kit accommodates a deeper snare, this configuration is another iteration of that idea. One can add it to their collection with their own 6½" deep snare or pick up a cool hammered brass TreeHouse to finish it off! 7x10, 8x13, 9x16, 17x20; plied maple; black pearl wrap. |
