Black on Orange. It's not just for Halloween -- they're Platte County High School's school colors! They wanted the flexibility of either a 4-piece that could nest or a 5-pc. So we came up with this project that's the #10 Compact Nesting Kit configuration (with a different tom bracket on the bass) plus a 12" so they can go either way. 7x10, 8x12, 10x14, 16x20, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax.

Based on the idea of a CS-6PC, this customer wanted the flexibility of either a CS-Nano or a CS-6PC...so a couple of shared/overlapped diameters & repositioning of floor tom leg brackets (so the 14" could be mounted on the bass or legged on the ground) got this package to maximum flexibility! Next time you're in Berlin, maybe you'll catch him in one of his bands! 6x8, 7x11, 10x14, 11x18 toms; 8x14, 17x22 bass drums; 3½x10, 4½x14 snare drums; plied maple; satin wax.
I needed another drumset to fill out the warmup rooms of the next University Jazz Festival down the road, so I used up a few older parts + "upcycled" dye -- a color blend of remnants...so, sorry to say, I can't reproduce this neato dark blue. 6¼x10, 6¾x12, 14x14, 12x18, 5x14; plied maple; satin wax.
Now residing in Anchorage, this SWOOSH BLUE Compact Nesting Kit is ready to explore The Last Frontier! 7x10, 10x14, 16x18, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax.
YELLOW! These CS-18s (with an extra cymbal arm) can be yellow! 7x10, 10x14, 16x18, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax.
Like the Standard CS-205, this 5-piece kit all nests into one case, but this time, the mounted toms are a skosh shallower, there's a wooden audience-side hoop, the air vents are the smaller ⅜ kind and this kit shows off the new CODE drumheads direct from the UK! 7x10, 8x13, 10x16, 16x20, 4½x14; plied maple; satin wax. It is just SO FUN playing around with all the Compact Nesting possibilities! This time, we’re starting with a 16” deep 22” bass and making a 5-piece. Instead of the CS-Standard 4½” deep snare, this project gets a 5½” deep snare. For that to happen, the math says something somewhere else has to get a little shorter, so the floor tom is 9” deep. Since it’s a little shallower than the 10” standard, the concept propagates as the two mounted toms are a couple of inches shorter than standard. Oh, and to spell out just a little more crack, the snare's a 13”. FUN! 6x10, 7x13, 9x16, 16x22, 5½x13; plied maple; satin wax.
Country, Rock, Pop: this versatile little kit sets up fast, looks-n-sounds great, and covers it all! 8x12, 14x14, 15x18; plied maple; gold sparkle wrap.
Big-sounding drums aren't always actually big in size. Besides, it's just super fun playing a 10" on a 16" bass with a 13" floor & snare. This kit is like the Rainbow Oyster Busker kits but with a bigger snare and smaller price for being dyed instead of wrapped. 6x10, 13x13, 12x16, 5x13; plied maple; satin wax.
What happens if you want a standard-sized floor tom instead of nesting your snare in a TreeHouse Compact Nesting Kit? Here's what it could look like in Swoosh Blue. 8x12, 15x15, 16x20; plied maple; satin wax.
