So here's a fun one! What if you already have a TreeHouse Tupan with an internal mic and then want another? Sure! Here's an Independent Tuning Tupan with internal mic holder. As the artist only uses one at a time, he can move the mic between instruments. Cool! 12x18; plied maple; satin wax.

Have you ever thought that a skinny small Tupan with Independent Tuning, an Internal Mic, and a sort of Hobbit Shire color scheme might just be the awesomest thing you could get for Christmas? Well, an awesome young lady in New York got just that! 8x18; plied maple; satin wax. Boom -- Tek! Black on Black with Red Belts for independent tuning + a painted logo makes for a "striking" Tupan at the Albanian Weddings! 16x20; plied maple; satin wax. Sometime, yer jus' sittin' around thinkin', "I should make another Tupan!" -- so this happened! Now then, every hunk of wood has its own character in terms of woodgrain etc. You can never tell until you get there: this one took the dye a little patchy here-n-there, so I'm calling her “Freckled.” 10x22; plied maple; satin wax. Time for a pair of Tupans, this time from Vintage Mahogany/Poplar/Mahogany shells. Lighter and narrower shells give these drums a place in your collection when you want something that sings without dislocating a disc in the parade. 9¾x20, 10x20; vintage mahogany; satin wax. This DARK blue Tupan is easy to transport while still sounding great! 10x18; plied maple; satin wax. "Black. Well, Black at a distance, but maybe kinda blue up close. With blue rope" became a custom color mix just right for this artist. With a more-manageable 12" depth, this guy's easy to get around and sounds huge! 12x24; plied maple; satin wax. At only 12" wide, this fellow's easier to get around than the stardard 16" depth. With plenty of boom and low-end from his 28" diameter, this one's ready to move the dancers! 12x28; plied maple; satin wax. We just couldn't leave out our Greek and Bulgarian friends! Check out this 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Made in USA Tupan featuring 16 Lugs made of 6061 Aluminum. This configuration allows for independent tuning of each head while maintaining a traditional rope tuning system.
