Here's a Compact Nesting Kit version with a few fun options. Opting for a Shiny Wax finish, this customer went with audience-side wooden bass hoop, black hardware, and a DW tom mount on the bass, plus a couple of extra brackets for tom arms. FUN! 8x10, 9x13, 14x16, 18x20; plied maple; shiny wax.

Resurrecting a color we haven't used for 16 years, this "Busy-Grained" maple snare features a 2-layer color we call Azteca Gold. Takes a little longer to make, but comes out way cooler than the pictures can show! 5½x12; plied maple; satin wax. Just...just...a 16" snare is just COOL! You can goosh with it, or pound through the mix as you like. Dialing in this one, which has Tube Lugs, Re-Rings, and a vertical ply of Cherry, is an absolute blast! 5⅔x16; plied shell: interior split maple, 3 plies poplar, exterior vertical ply of cherry + 1" 6-ply re-rings; satin wax. Mix-n-Match for Jazz or Rock or Whatever: one mounted, two floors, 18" and 22" bass, a regular snare. PLUS our very first Snom! Is it a Floor Tom with a Strainer or a Snare with Floor Tom Legs?
