My favorite thing about TreeHouse drums is that I can always get my drums made to my specific likings to fit any style of music and or sound that I prefer and they never disappoint.
BIOGRAPHY: Meet Taurus Lovely, a professional performer, and instructor of percussion, from South Bay, FL.
His career on drums began at the age of (5), then Taurus progress to perform during middle and high school in the marching bands.
During High School, Taurus also played in the entire group of honor bands of Palm Beach County, FL. In 1994, his senior year in High School, he was chosen to be the first chair drummer for the Florida Bandmasters Association All State Jazz Band.
Upon completing High School, he enrolled in Florida A&M University (FAMU) as a Music Education Major. During this time, Taurus was the percussion section leader of the world-renowned Florida A&M University Marching “100” Band, under the direction of the legendary Dr. William P. Foster.
In 1998 and 1999, Taurus was chosen to be the leader of the Walt Disney World Collegiate All Star Band. These experiences came under the leadership of Dr. Ron McCurdy, Director of the Thelonious Mont Institute at the University of Southern California. Also at Walt Disney World he had the opportunity to work with Mr. Steve Houghton, a professional drummer performer and instructor, and many more music Educators.
