The Professor's Kit
UCM purchased a TreeHouse jazz kit a few years ago (4-piece). I was able to test drive a nesting kit (blonde 4-piece pictured in All-State Jazz videos) then make some adjustments to what became the "professor's kit". My current nesting kit is a 4-piece w/14" snare, 14" floor tom (legs), 18" bass, and 10" mounted tom. The bass drum has an extra leg to hold the weight of the mounted tom and snare (when using the bass mounts for both), and a wooden rim on the front of the bass drum. Love it! - Dr. S
- 7x10 10-ply maple tom
- 10x14 6-ply maple floor tom
- 16x18 8-ply maple tom
- 4½x14 6-ply maple snare
