Couple of Concert Toms to go with your Rogers kit? 7x8, 8x10; plied maple; satin wax.

When you gotta big bass, you need big toms & a matching snare! 14x16, 16x18, 8x14, (16x26); plied maple; Modern Bermuda Sand wrap.  (Our thanks to Seven for submitting this picture of his whole set up! â–¡) Big. The kit in stock with the 26" bass wasn't big enough; here's hoping your car door opens up really wide! (We're good -- he drives a truck) 10x14, 18x18, 14x28; plied maple; satin wax. I'm just falling for this funky Rainbow Oyster wrap! Kinda...streaky-frog-in-a-blender meets vintage-old-school-vibe. Whatever. It's just cool. Hope you like it! 7½x12, 12x14, 15x20, 5x13; plied maple; rainbow oyster wrap. I saw this wrap, Rainbow Oyster, and just HAD to make some drumsets from it. Time for a thumpin' 16" somethin' --> 10" mounted on a 16" bass with a 13" floor and a thick 10" snare. The hairs still climb on the back of my neck! 6x10, 13x13, 12x16, 4x10; plied maple; rainbow oyster wrap. 10 concert toms where the last two are on legs...yeah, we can do that. Wanna bass too? Here ya go! 6x6, 7x8, 8x10, 9x11, 10x12, 11x13, 12x14, 13x15, 14x16, 16x18, 16x20; plied maple; satin wax. Need a manageable Tupan with lots of tone? Here's a glance at one possibility. 12x18; plied maple; satin wax. One of a kind. That's how this shell looks. A quarter sawn hunk of Sycamore showing its grain all over the place...just beautiful! Being decked out with 20 Vintage Small Beavertail Lugs to add a little mass to this light shell balances out the highs-n-lows, the crack-n-depth. 7x14; solid quarter sawn sycamore; satin wax. What happens if you have a stage show spinning and twirling wooden hoops? You might even balance glasses of water on said hoops, spinning them overhead without spilling a drop. When that's your gig, you can't just use ol' boring plain hoops...you need different sizes and colors of maple hoops, rounded on both edges, with shiny bits doing their thing -- and the occasional inlay dot so you can see where the centered balance points are. Yeah! The artist who commissioned these did the happy dance when he first saw them!  After getting the Little 4 concert toms, the client who commissioned these drums just had to add the bottom toms! 11x13, 12x14, 13x15, 14x16, 15x18; plied maple; satin wax. |
