After seeing the one with the tube lugs, the owner of this splendid instrument HAD to have one...but we found a way to trim the pricing: still black hardware on PURPLE, but standard hardware instead of tube lugs. 4x10; plied maple; satin wax.

It’s always fun building drums to add on to customer’s existing TreeHouse setups. And the majority of the time, we can match their color recipe! (Gotta admit, about 3% of the projects over the years can’t be matched—either a recipe wasn’t properly recorded years ago or a prototype finish is applied over some scrap dye lots which can’t be reproduced.) Here’s some various add-ons from the past 18 months or so:
It just so happened that we had TWO simultaneous custom orders from DIFFERENT people who BOTH ordered a 12x20 bass drum to go with their existing TreeHouse set up! Now THAT’S a first! 12x20; plied maple; satin wax.
To add panache to his Natural Buskers Kit (10" mounted, 13" floor, 16" bass with FT Leg brackets), the owner is adding a regular 20" bass so now he has one up + two down and still not a spacehog. 12x20; plied maple; satin wax. First he got concert toms from us, then he decided to replace his bass too.
