Not just your normal 5x14 snare--this one features a one-ply solid shell of South American Jatoba, 8 short bridge lugs and a fantastic sound, similar to the Rosewood solid snare we made a few years ago. There's a slight "hump" in the shell at the seam under the strainer, but the drum is structurally fine and ready to jam!
