Great sounding drums. Detail oriented craftsmanship by caring drum makers. Since I record music, I am very particular about the sound of my drums. I get to pick out depth, size, thickness of the shell, kind of wood, all of which affects the sound. Their customer service is outstanding, which I have benefitted from, for special concerts and recordings.
BIOGRAPHY: Sam found his uncle's drums and cymbals in his attic when he was 5. “I still have his K's and his 1936 Pioneer bass drum. That started my love of great sounding instruments.” Began band and jazz band in 5th grade and became a “working drummer” with his dad's country band. He has never stopped playing, and exploring the possibilities of the drumset. His first tour in Europe was in 1986 and several tours followed.
