Howdy! I'm Derek, owner of TreeHouse Drums. I've been playing drums since 1981, teaching drums since 1987, and working on drums since 1989. I've owned Supersonic Music since 1998 and I've been making TreeHouse drums since 2000.
I'm involved with all aspects of the company: Buying, selling, marketing, sanding, finishing, drilling, playing etc. I usually work on TreeHouse projects alone, occasionally bringing in a small staff of dedicated, hardworking folks who also play and love building drums.
